Offended: Changing the World into a Better Place

So on July 1, 2017, the Prime Minister (PM) of Canada, Justin Trudeau, makes a bit of a gaffe in naming all the provinces that make Canada great; all but one – Alberta. I don’t watch the news for many reasons, but I find most people, and society in general, have become so overly sensitive that they are offended way too easily by things of this nature. Immediately, numerous people jump on the “I’m so offended” bandwagon on social media. Trust me when I say that I get it; you’re proud to be living in Alberta, from Alberta and/or even proud of just being a Canadian in general – I am too. The PM forgets to mention Alberta in a Canada Day 150 speech? Big deal! There are way bigger issues in this world that if people would only get half as offended about as they are about piddly little things like this, the world would be a much better place. Let’s put things into perspective and have a look at the bigger picture of what really matters and what people should really be offended about in this world; the advancement/betterment of humanity and the human race as a whole.

“The truth is not what you want it to be; it is what it is, and you must bend to its power or live a lie.” – Miyamoto Musashi

The truth is taxes are a scam, yet we blindly obey and pay them anyway. Here’s a good example – property tax. Every homeowner pays property tax to the government that owns the land. However, in order to have ownership of any kind of property (land or otherwise) denotes a purchase or transaction of some kind. Who did the government buy the land from? God/Source/Creator? A claim of ownership cannot be made on something that is freely provided by the very planet Earth in which we live on; it wasn’t purchased – there was no transaction.

“Sometimes people don’t want to hear the truth because they don’t want their illusions destroyed.” – Friedrich Nietzsche

The government is only in power for themselves and feeds fear to the masses (i.e. fear of terrorism) when it’s all a sham created by the government itself to instill that fear. Politicians are “elected”, but always have their own agendas, never the best interest of the people, in mind. The whole “election” process is all a sham – pulling the wool over our eyes. Consider the U.S.; a two-party election system. The voters are forced to choose between the lesser of two evils that can change from one administration to the next with the same political agenda. How is that considered having a choice?

“There are two types of people in this world: people who think the government is looking out for their best interest and people who think.” – Nathan Fraser

Thousands, if not millions, go without food every day, yet how much food is needlessly thrown away in one city alone not to mention across an entire country? We also have a thirst for clean drinking water, and yet again thousands, if not millions, don’t have access to it. Then there are companies like Nestle laying claim to a natural water resource that should be a basic human right, all in the name of corporate profits. We have stores stocked full of clean drinking water, bottled by big companies for corporate profit, yet there are those who live in Canada who are homeless who have none, let alone what’s considered the Third World.

“Fiction is obliged to stick to possibilities. Truth isn’t.” – Mark Twain

Speaking of the homeless, in the U.S., there are currently enough homes that have been foreclosed that it would eliminate the homeless issue entirely, and yet they sit – completely vacant. Canada has its own homeless problem too, as housing prices are controlled for market profit. Here’s an example: in Calgary, $1 million can net something very close to a mansion style home, whereas in Vancouver, the same will only net a house fit for demolishing and rebuilding from scratch. Why is there such a discrepancy?

“The farther you enter the truth, the deeper it is.” – Bankei Zenji

Banks are controlled by an elite few private owners, and governments answer to the banks. Why is Donald Trump president now in the U.S.? It’s because he’s a businessman first who can make those few elite a lot of money. Some research on the Rothschild and Rockefeller families will reveal that they are two of the major private bank owners. A recent article mentions that the world is $270 trillion in debt; who is the world in debt to? God/Source/Creator? A bigger question would be, who created the $270 trillion to lend out as a loan that created the debt?

“All great truths begin as blasphemies.” – George Bernard Shaw

Everything is energy, EVERYTHING! Is a rock and a tree both alive? A tree has a function, to provide oxygen, but it’s atoms and molecules are also moving, even though we don’t see it. A rock may appear not to move or have a function, but guaranteed every single atom of every single molecule in that rock is moving, even though we don’t see it. They are one in the same. Quite the mind blower, isn’t it?

“All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.” – Arthur Schopenhauer

Here are some more truths:
Hemp can replace almost everything manmade – clothing/fabrics, cement, oil, gasoline, plastic, lumber, steel, and can be far stronger/better than each of those, yet it’s illegal. Why? The corporate profits that would be eliminated and their respective industries destroyed. Even bigger still, we are destroying our only home all in the name of corporate profits when technologies exist that would eliminate the need for such senseless destruction. If we destroy someone’s property we call it vandalism and we’re charged with a criminal offense, yet when we destroy our planet, we call it progress.

“During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.” – George Orwell

Modern medicine has only been around for the last 150-200 years and it’s all chemically based. Cancer, being the biggest and most profitable, is treated with a laundry list of chemicals, not to mention the destructive and 97% ineffective chemotherapy. If a car manufacturer were to sell a car that exploded 97% of the time, how long would that company be in business? Holistic medicine has been around for thousands of years. Why are the Chinese so seemingly able to live up to 100 years or more? It won’t be the result of modern medicine, as they had been cut off from the Western World for hundreds of years. Since a cure for cancer does exist (cannabis oil), why is cannabis illegal? With all the millions that have been donated to cancer research, why does the vast majority of that money raised end up lining the CEO’s pocket? Prior to the 1930’s, cannabis was widely used by medical and health practitioners; since its prohibition, why has the number of cancer patients skyrocketed?

“It’s no wonder that truth is stranger than fiction. Fiction has to make sense.” – Mark Twain

The sugar industry has the public by the balls, addicted to its drug and wants to keep it that way. Looking at any nutritional label, there is a listing of how much sugar is contained in each product. What a person won’t ever find on this label, is the daily maximum intake of sugar; 25 grams for women; 38 grams for men (Sugarscience.org). A single 355 mL (12 fl oz) can of Coke has 39 grams (Coke nutritional info). Added sugar is toxic to the body; it causes cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. The sugar industry won’t ever admit it, though, and will produce study after study, funded by the sugar industry itself, to prove it. How long did it take for the tobacco industry to finally relent and admit that its product caused cancer after numerous studies (funded by the tobacco industry) were produced to refute the same claims? Pharmaceutical companies get a kickback from the medications prescribed to treat these conditions, while the sugar industry keeps creating the patients. See how the system works? Ever wonder why a burger can cost a measly $2-3, yet a salad will run anywhere from $5-10?

“Strange times are these in which we live when young and old are taught falsehoods in school. And the person who dares to tell the truth is called at once a lunatic and fool.” – Plato

Men and women are killed in wars that are glorified as being ‘in service of their country’, yet the war is nothing more than a resource grab concocted, yet again, by the government, while civilians also pay a huge price for a senseless war. Whatever happened to Canada’s Peace Keepers? It’s been decades since they’ve ever been mentioned. I remember a time when Canada was well-known and revered for their Peace Keepers it used to have. The U.S. has spent trillions on warfare, and Canada is no different by spending millions on tanks, planes, and subs. It doesn’t matter who’s on the hot seat either – Harper, Justin Trudeau, Pierre Trudeau; they were all “elected” and yet all spent millions on warfare needlessly. With all the money that has been spent needlessly on warfare over the last two decades alone could’ve eradicated global hunger forever! Take a moment to let that sink in!! Is each person willing to take responsibility for “electing” someone who spends on warfare instead of feeding the starving world, regardless of who’s on the hot seat and whether they “voted” for the person or not?

“Fighting for peace is like screwing for virginity.” – George Carlin

We’re led to believe that we live in a free country; but are we really, truly free? If a person lives in a country where they have to be told they are free, then they do not live in a free country. Think about this for a minute: name something you can do that isn’t licensed/require a license, taxed or outright illegal. To own a home, a person has to pay property taxes, to build one requires a permit, to drive a car requires a license, anything that’s purchased is taxed, a person’s very income is taxed, to travel requires a passport (license to travel), a person must have a Social Insurance Number (Canada) or Social Security Number (US) in order to work, and then there’s an entire legal system dedicated to what’s illegal. So are we really, truly free?

“Governments don’t want well-informed, well-educated people capable of critical thinking. That is against their interests. They want obedient workers who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork. And just dumb enough to passively accept it.” – George Carlin

Our education system is broken and twisted in the most grotesque and insidious way possible.  It’s a well-known fact 50% of a child’s subconscious belief systems that comprise their ability to make adult decisions are programmed by the age of just 5 years old. This number then jumps another 30% to a whopping 80% by the age of 8. Scary, isn’t it?? On top of that, the education system is bent on teaching children what to think instead of how to think, and then they’re graded on their ability to regurgitate the information they’re fed, all the while, parents are forced to pay for this type of manipulation for a single purpose; to keep them complacent, obedient and to never question anything they’re told. Why are we allowing children to be manipulated in such a way?

“Don’t just teach your kids to read – teach them to question what they read. Teach them to question everything!” – George Carlin

There are far more things in this world to be offended about than leaving Alberta out of a simple speech. People need to take their blindfolds off, quit their bitching/complaining/finger pointing, wake the fuck up to what’s really going on in this world and start directing their ‘offended’ energy into something more constructive for the betterment of humanity. The power of the people is much stronger than the people in power. It’s time for the world to wake up.

    • Thank you for reading 🙂 If you’re asking me where I live, I’m born & raised in Alberta. I understand your frustration – there are bigger global issues we could take a look at; ones that affect all of humanity and not just those of us in Alberta 🙂
